I Need Energy – I Need an Energy Boost is a blog post about exactly that. This comment is one of the most common complaint I hear from patients and one that will be forever used. Do you want energy like you’ve never had before? Do you want energy that lasts all day long without a crash at the end of the day? Are you sick and tired of being run down?
Energy drinks are one of the most common drink of choice for millions of Americans daily which can add up to a lot of money! This does include your typical Starbucks coffee for $4-5 that most have every morning. This could add up to $50-80 per month if your not careful.
Energy is produced within all of our 72 trillion cells we have in our body in what’s called the mitochondria. This is the powerplant of your town so to speak. It produces the energy you need to survive. Without this production you are dead. But there are lots of reasons why you can’t produce enough.
First, look at your diet. (I always start here) If your loading your breakfast plate and lunch plate with dounuts, pastries, or fast food, this requires a lot of attention from your digestive track. Your body needs to digest food first before anything else so it requires a lot of energy from your system to do this simple job.
Over time this process becomes slower and slower because of how it compounds on each other. Therefore, get back to the basics of lean meats and vegetables to take the pressure off your digestive track. This tip alone will improve your energy by 70-80%.
To get away from the typical horendous American breakfast, find a protein shake mix that tastes good. Mix this with coconut milk, or water with some mixed berries and your morning just became awesome.
Everyone knows we need to exercise more and that is proven through research to improve our cardiovascular health but also boost the metabolism and ultimately energy. Here is the best tip for those who don’t have time to get this done. All you have to do is wake up 10-15 minutes earlier, or maybe you won’t have to if you follow this program. Inbetween your daily routine morning activites, drop down and do some pushups. Take a shower, get out and do some pushups. Brush your teeth and then do some more pushups. Try and perform 100 pushups before you leave for work. Do this for 90 days and you will see physical results muscular wise, but also an increase in your energy levels. I love this one and do it daily.
There are many energy supplements on the market that can be benefical to getting that boost in the morning but be careful for products that can do more harm that good. Read my other blog post on Xyng and how this product is giving energy to more Americans every single day.
Take action and implement some of these changes and you will find more energy that you need to get through the day. Forward this post to others so they don’t have to google “I need energy” anymore!
