Working out LESS and Gain MORE!

How does working out for 30-40 minutes a WEEK sound?

Burst training, or interval training has become the new FAD as far as working out goes.  The doctors and trainers that have incorporated this type of training into their routine are definetly a CUT ABOVE the rest.

The old way of staying in the gym and on a treadmill for over and hour are OVER!!  And by the way, who has TIME for that anyways?

Research shows that while you are on a treadmill for a long period of time (the old way of working out) puts you into the “fat burning zone.”  This is true.  BUT, over the next couple of days that person will be burning sugar to keep up with the demand of the workout.

The exact OPPOSITE is true for burst training.  Burst training is a quick, fast, and intense exercise for 30 seconds to 1 minute as hard as you can.  This should make you unable to hold a conversation with someone.  Once you are able to start again, you repeat the exercise.  Perform it 3-4 times, and your done! (That’s 12 minutes TOPS!)

Your body goes into “shock” and has to respond to this and burns sugar during this whole exercise period.  BUT, over the next couple of days your body will be burning more FAT than it would being on that treadmill for over an hour.  So if your body is burning fat the next couple of days, you should be resting, thus only working out 3-4 times per week, every 2-3 days.  I LOVE IT!

Incorporate this new training and you will start seeing better results QUICKER than what your doing now!
